Children do not need to experience poverty, abusive homes or neglect. Through the sacrifice and commitment of Heritage Mission staff and its supporters, our children experience the love and provision of God. Taking time and resources now to train children to live by God’s standards saves future welfare, housing, medical, food, court, and imprisonment costs.
Financial Support
Heritage Mission is supported entirely through donations from individuals, churches and businesses. We receive no state or federal tax dollars, and no tuition fees are charged since most students do not have financial resources. Contributions support spiritual training, safe housing, clothing, quality education, citizenship training, and a future for our young people.
Although no dollar value can be placed on eternal life with Christ, we must seriously consider its value to God, to those we serve, and to us. If God speaks to your heart and urges you to support the ministry, please contact Heritage Mission (link this to email). Heritage Mission is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit ministry and your financial gifts are tax deductible. Specific donations are requested for:
- support of daily operational expenses
Volunteers
Our volunteers provide a myriad of services, from offering music lessons to teaching summer workshops to assisting children with schoolwork. Potential volunteers can contact Heritage Mission about filling needed roles. Currently, our specific needs include
- An experienced drywaller to make repairs
- A licensed electrician to volunteer services
- A longarm quilter to machine-quilt our "Quilts of Valor" quilts
